Today, on the basis of gymnasium No. 7, the first pedagogical conference for specialists from educational organizations of Sevastopol «A young teacher in the educational space: a portrait, opportunities, a formula for success» was held. The event was organized by the Department of Education and Science together with the Institute for the Development of Education. More than 110 young specialists from schools, kindergartens, vocational and additional education organizations took part in the conference for young teachers.
This year has been declared in Russia as the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. It is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Russian pedagogy Konstantin Ushinsky. It is difficult to name another teacher in pre-revolutionary Russia who enjoyed the same authority, the same love of teachers, children and their parents, as Konstantin Dmitrievich. At today’s event, we discussed effective practices for introducing pedagogical technologies in the educational activities of a young specialist— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science Stanislav Feoktistov.
The conference discussed technologies for teaching subjects, educational and psychological, social and pedagogical practices, ways of professional development and self-realization of a young teacher.
Today’s conference will certainly bear fruit — I am convinced of this. Live communication of young teachers, exchange of practices and discussion of topical issues are extremely useful for a teacher starting his own way. I hope that this format of meetings will become annual and traditional.— notes the director of gymnasium No. 7 Olga Khomyakova.
The conference was attended by more than 36 speakers — young professionals from different cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Veliky Novgorod, Gorlovka, Solnechnogorsk, Simferopol, Sevastopol, p. Storozhevka (Saratov region), with. Kargasok (Tomsk region).
