The First Movement Movement is developing on the territory of the Republic of Crimea

Let us recall that in 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the federal law on the Russian movement of children and youth. This is the youngest youth association in Russia, which includes more than 300 children’s and youth organizations.

In February of this year, the regional branch of the “Movement of the First” began to function in the republic. A team has been formed and specialists have been appointed to organize work in municipalities, numbering 60 people. Over 8 months of work, more than 12 thousand people joined the movement, 503 primary branches were created— said Elena Romanovskaya.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Board — the head of the apparatus of the All-Russian social-state movement of children and youth «Movement of the First» Marat Zakirov, Crimea was actively involved in the work of forming a regional branch, creating its «primary branches», and focused on the creation of Movement Centers and issues of interaction with regional office. Marat Zakirov also noted that the initiatives of a number of youth organizations in Crimea received financial support from the All-Russian Movement (grants were provided in the amount of 26 million rubles).

During the meeting, issues of forming primary branches in educational, cultural, sports and healthcare institutions, information support for the activities of the regional First Movement, and forming a delegation of children aged 7 to 17 years to participate in the exhibition-forum “Russia”, which will be held on 4 November at VDNH in Moscow.

The formation of the regional branch and its “primary branches” in the Republic of Crimea continues; at the end of the year, under the leadership of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, the results of its activities for 2023 will be summed up and the main directions of work for 2024 will be determined.
