The first shift of the unique educational project “School by the Sea” is taking place in the Evpatoria children’s camp

The first specialized session of the unique educational project “School by the Sea” has opened at the children’s health center “Scarlet Sails” (urban settlement Zaozernoye).

Over the course of 21 days, children from all over Crimea will get acquainted with the idea of ​​school participatory budgeting in a playful way, and will go through all the stages of preparing a participatory project – from putting forward an idea and finding like-minded people to presenting the finished project.

All thematic activities of the profile shift are aimed at children and will be implemented by counselors — students of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University (KIPU) named after Fevzi Yakubov, who previously completed online training and offline intensive courses under the guidance of research staff of the Center for Initiative Budgeting of the Financial Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance Russia and the Center for the Study of Civil Initiatives of the KIPU named after Fevzi Yakubov.

The project was initiated by the Ministry of Finance of Crimea together with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea and the Center for the Study of Civil Initiatives of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov with the methodological support of research fellows of the Center for Initiative Budgeting of the Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
