The first stage of the anti-drug campaign “Tell me where they sell death” is taking place in Crimea.

We urge everyone who is aware of the disastrous danger of drug addiction to be vigilant and take an active part in the Campaign — perhaps you will save the lives of your family and friends.

Any information will be verified. No appeal will be left unattended.

As part of the campaign, any resident of the Republic of Crimea can confidentially transmit information about facts of drug trafficking.

Request to all residents:

— if you become aware of facts of crimes related to the storage, production and sale of narcotic drugs, the involvement of minors in drug trafficking and their use, call by calling the duty station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Yalta: 22–28-22 or “102.”

— perhaps your video recording devices recorded the moment of applying an inscription advertising resources for the distribution of drugs or the fact of distribution of narcotic drugs, in which case, these videos and photographs can help law enforcement agencies in solving crimes committed in this area. We ask you to send any available photos and video materials indicating the address of the incident, as well as information about facts of drug trafficking, including drug dens and (or) drug trafficking points, to the following email address: stopnarkotik@yalta.rk.gov.ru

We remind you that drugs:

— destroy the family (those who are in captivity themselves cannot take care of loved ones or raise children);

— disrupt a person’s cognitive abilities (make learning difficult, deprive them of the ability to work. Memory suffers. It becomes difficult to express one’s thoughts correctly);

— the cause of many diseases (from the destruction of brain cells, dementia, schizophrenia, damage to the liver, lungs, cardiovascular, nervous, reproductive systems to infection with hepatitis, AIDS and other fatal diseases. Moreover, this does not depend on the type of drug or the method of use The ending is always the same. It’s only a matter of time);

— the cause of deformity in children (even one use of certain drugs changes a person’s genetic code. Not to mention periodic and, subsequently, constant use);

— lead to accidents (distraction of attention, impaired coordination of movement and orientation in space often cause accidents, domestic and industrial injuries, deadly adventures, and pose a threat to the life and health of other people).

Measures of legal responsibility for the use and distribution of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances

Article 6.9. Consumption of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a doctor’s prescription – an administrative fine in the amount of 4 to 5 thousand rubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

Article 228.1. Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, as well as illegal sale or transfer of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances is punishable by imprisonment from 4 years to life imprisonment.
