The Great Patriotic War began for Sevastopol at 3:13 on June 22, 1941. Every year at this time, events in memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War begin in the Hero City. After the lighting of the candles, the regional event “Ships of Dreams” took place on the Grafskaya pier. Each participant launched a paper boat into the sea in memory of school graduates who did not have time to meet the peaceful dawn in 1941.
