The first tour of the musical theater of the Republic of Crimea takes place in Pyatigorsk

The team of the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea is conducting an autumn tour, which will take place from October 16 to 19 on the stage of the Stavropol State Operetta Theater. The tour was organized as part of the All-Russian program “Big Tours. Interregional program» according to the Federal Touring Plan of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Rosconcert». The theater will present its best performances for the townspeople and guests of Pyatigorsk, where the Crimean ensemble is coming for the first time.

On October 16, the artists will show the famous musical “Dubrovsky” by Kim Breitburg and Karen Kavaleryan. Modern music, spectacular choreography, colorful crowd scenes, historical costumes will make the viewer a participant in the romantic love story of Vladimir Dubrovsky and Maria Troekurova.

On October 17, the theater invites you to the musical “The Captain’s Daughter” based on the story by Alexander Pushkin. The play about the peasant war and Pugachev’s uprising, love and death, honor and loyalty to the Motherland in the story of the musical’s authors Maxim Dunaevsky and Mark Rozovsky takes on a new meaning.

The musical “The Legend of Asturias” is a romantic story filled with light sadness. It was created by composer Dmitry Lazarev and librettist Leonid Gusarov based on the play “The Morning Fairy” by Spanish playwright Alejandro Casona. The performance will be given on October 18.

The tour will continue on October 19 with the musical “The Queen of Spades” based on the work of Alexander Pushkin. The mystical story inspired the author of the libretto, songwriter Natalya Kuzminykh, and famous composer Yegor Shashin to create a musical of the same name.

Crimean artists will delight young viewers with the musical fairy tale “Ivan and Marya” by Kim Breitburg and Evgeny Muravyov. The fairy tale will take place on the morning of October 19.

All performances are available under the All-Russian program “Pushkin Card”.
