The forces of the Russian Emergencies Ministry ensured security in the temples of Sevastopol during Easter services

Sevastopol met the bright Easter holiday: all-night vigils were held in the city’s Orthodox churches. Traditionally, representatives of a number of emergency departments and services were on duty in the territories of places of worship from evening to morning. Fire safety at the places of church celebrations was provided by employees of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol. The equipment of the units was in readiness — for emergency response to a possible emergency situation. The security of the believers in Sevastopol was ensured by a grouping of 56 people from the emergency department. It is worth noting that on the eve of all church buildings were checked by specialists of the supervisory authority of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for compliance with fire safety requirements.

In total, rescuers controlled events at 50 places of worship— reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.

Thanks to the professionalism of the forces involved, the responsible approach of the clergy and the consciousness of the citizens, the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ in the region took place without incident.
