Social networks report about the fire in the Yalta Nature Reserve. The information was confirmed by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea. It is noted that information about the fire over Yalta was received today at about 18:25. The location of the fire is the Iograph ridge area.
There is no threat to the populated area. Upon arrival of department employees, it was established that a forest litter fire had occurred on an area of 0.04 hectaresthe emergency department said in a statement.
In total, 11 people and six pieces of equipment have been involved in extinguishing the fire to date.
