The former director of Crimeavtotrans was sentenced to nine years in the colony. For bribes

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol were recognized as the court to the former director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the RK “Krymavtotrans” by the court. It was found guilty of receiving bribes in the form of illegal provision of property services, including on a particularly large scale (paragraph “c” of part 5 of article 290, part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Office for the Investigation of Particularly important cases and the court established that the current director promised two acquaintances to assistance in concluding the Krymavtotrans contracts for the repair and furniture of the premises of the enterprise and subsequent patronage in the form of cooperation exclusively with them. In response, the accused demanded a bribe in the form of repairs in her apartment. Further, the official concluded a number of contracts for the repair of the educational building of the enterprise, the manufacture and installation of office furniture worth more than 28 million rubles, and entrepreneurs from December 2022 to October 2023 with the participation of the involved employees carried out repairs in the apartment of the head of the vehicle and furnished it for about 1.8 million rubles,-the press service of the department said.
The criminal activity of the official was identified and suppressed by employees of the republican departments of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the place of service and residence of the accused during the searches, materials confirming its illegal activity were seized. The investigation conducted an examination, a sufficient evidence base was collected. A legal assessment of the actions of the heads of contracting organizations is given.
The verdict of the court, the former director of Crimeavtotrans was found guilty of committing crimes. By their totality, she was sentenced to 9 years in prison in a penal colony of general regime. In addition, the convicted person will pay a fine of 3 million rubles and, after serving the sentence, will not be able to hold leading positions for another 6 years.
