The fourth Solovyov geopolitical scientific and practical readings will take place in Livadia on June 5

On June 5, as part of the XVII annual International Festival “The Great Russian Word”, the Institute of CIS Countries (Moscow), the Institute of CIS Countries in the city of Sevastopol are holding the Fourth Solovyov Geopolitical Scientific and Practical Readings.
The theme of the Readings “Sevastopol and Crimea in the focus of geopolitical interests in the 18th-21st centuries” is updated in the context of this year’s significant anniversaries — the 170th anniversary of the beginning of the First Defense of Sevastopol in the Crimean War, the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sevastopol and Crimea from the Nazi invaders, the 10th anniversary Sevastopol-Crimean-Russian spring.
Participants of the Festival, scientists, experts and social activists from Moscow, Crimea and Sevastopol are invited to the Readings.
Current issues of geopolitics, political practice, history, and the humanitarian sphere related to the Black Sea-Caspian geostrategic space, the Black Sea Fleet, the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, as well as the socio-political and cultural life of Crimea and Sevastopol are offered for discussion.
The date of the event is June 5, from 10.00 to 16.30, registration starts at 9.00. Venue: White Hall of the Livadia Palace.
