The funds of Khersones Tauride will have a new house

The funds of the museum-reserve have more than 265 thousand items. To expand the capabilities of the existing storage, a new building was built. Currently, about 38 thousand items have been transported there,-quoted the press service of the main keeper of the museum-reserve Natalia Demidenko.

With the support Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation In addition to artifacts, the new funds of Khersones Tauride, in addition to artifacts, will also be deposited and multifunctional children’s center. There, schoolchildren and students will be able to take part in interactive classes, quizzes and master classes on the history of the ancient city, and family in weekend programs.

The thematic excursions will also hold the museum-reserve. They will tell children and adults about the agricultural district of the ancient city — a choir, which was the basis of the well -being of Chersoneses.
