The general director of Krymavtotrans has been charged with receiving a bribe in the form of apartment renovations

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, based on the results of joint special measures carried out with the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, initiated a criminal case against the director of the State Unitary Enterprise «Krymavtotrans». The investigating authorities accuse her of receiving a bribe in the form of the illegal provision of property services to her for performing actions in favor of the bribe-giver on a large scale (clause “c” of Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

An investigator of the Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases established that the director of the enterprise promised an entrepreneur she knew, who was engaged in the provision of construction services, assistance in concluding a contract with him for the renovation of premises and subsequent patronage in the form of concluding contracts exclusively with him, demanding in response kickback in the form of renovations in her apartment.

Next, the official entered into an agreement with his company for the overhaul of the educational building of the enterprise in the amount of almost 9.5 million rubles, and the entrepreneur, from December 2022 to March 2023, carried out repairs with the participation of employees attracted by him in the apartment of the director of the State Unitary Enterprise.

The day before, the official was detained. Officers of the Investigative Committee and the FSB conducted searches at the place of service and residence of the accused, seized funds, including currency, as well as information of interest to the investigative authorities.— reported in Sledkom.

The director of the enterprise admits his guilt in the crime committed and cooperates with the investigative authorities, in connection with which the court chose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.

On website The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea indicates that the director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymavtotrans” is Oksana Mazur. The enterprise operates 57 existing transport infrastructure facilities (bus stations, bus stations and bus stops), which are located on the peninsula and are united into 10 bus station networks. 140 road carriers cooperate with the company; more than 2 thousand trips are carried out daily through Krymavtotrans bus stations. “Turnover” of management personnel shook Krymavtotrans until 2022. In less than 8 years there changed 9 directors. There were also scandals. For example, in the fall of 2021, the director and chief accountant of Krymavtotrans were found guilty by the court under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (embezzlement or embezzlement committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy on an especially large scale).
