The Government of Sevastopol will have both a youth affairs department and a sports department
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, it was decided to divide the department of youth and sports affairs into two independent bodies: the department of youth affairs and the department of sports.
The decree creates a department for youth affairs — a separate body that will deal with youth policy. We have discussed this with the guys several times; we believe that this will provide more opportunities for development. There is also a corresponding order from the President of the Russian Federation based on the results of the state council that took place last year on the creation of such a body. This has been our plan for quite some time. We are also creating a separate department for sports, that is, two independent departments are being formed from the department for youth and sports affairs. Accordingly, today we need to adopt a regulation on two new departments and then form them and carry out all organizational measures,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The city governor also noted that this division does not foresee any additional budget costs.
I would like to emphasize that the creation of these two bodies will not require any additional budget expenditures. Because we create them from two existing staff units, plus redistribution within vacant positions. Well, and, accordingly, all other resources are also available, this is a management reorganization that will not require additional costs from the budget of the city of Sevastopol,” commented Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Sergei Reznichenko will remain the head of the sports department.
The main task of the management will be the development of sports, both mass and adaptive, special attention will be paid to sports infrastructure. We will take appropriate measures in all areasnotes Sergei Reznichenko.
The Youth Policy Department will be headed by Marina Slonchenko.
The objectives of the department will be the implementation of state youth policy in the territory of Sevastopol, as well as the involvement of young people and residents in volunteer activitiessays Marina Slonchenko.
