The Governor and Minister of Health of Russia presented awards to Sevastopol doctors

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, and the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, presented awards to employees of city medical institutions on March 3. The award ceremony took place at the theatre. A.V. Lunacharsky.

The work of medical workers in recent years has been associated with a high workload and new challenges — for example, the coronavirus pandemic has turned out to be a serious test for us. But I must say, it has greatly changed our views on healthcare, forced us to reconsider many values regarding people’s health, attitudes towards staff, attitudes towards our medical organizations, and medical education. I see how healthcare is changing in Sevastopol today, how much equipment is being supplied to medical organizations. But without you — without those who have already done a lot for healthcare and continue to work in medical institutions — moving forward is impossible. Thank you for your work, — Mikhail Murashko addressed the medical workers.

Indeed, many positive changes have occurred in Sevastopol medicine recently. We have something to be proud of: last year we opened a clinic in Cossack Bay and an outpatient clinic on Fiolent, we are building an emergency hospital and a new oncology clinic building on Kamyshov Highway, we are implementing the national project “Healthcare”, thanks to which we are equipping hospitals and clinics with new equipment. The main goal is to create an effective system that will satisfy both patients and doctors themselves. And this is impossible without the daily work of the entire medical team of Sevastopol,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.
