The construction of the last, eighth, stage of the Tavrida highway will be completed in 2023 year, Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev announced live on Sevastopol television.
This year the work on the eighth stage of the Tavrida track will be completed. Our entrance to the city will be completed, all four lanes to the entrance to Sevastopol will fully work. The final work is underway. The eighth stage of the Tavrida highway is the most important and long-awaited large federal project that will connect the entire Crimean peninsula from the Crimean bridge to Sevastopol , — said Razvozhaev.
According to the contract, work on the eighth stage of the Tavrida should be completed at the end of November, but the VAD company is clearly ahead of schedule. Therefore, the optimistic forecast for the launch of a full-fledged movement on the eighth, Seevastopol stage is May 2023 of the year.
The Tavrida highway is a motorway of the first technical category with a length of 250, 7 km, which will become the basis of the new road system of the peninsula. The construction of a four-lane road from Kerch to Sevastopol began in 2017, six sections pass through the territory of the Republic of Crimea, two — within the administrative boundaries of Sevastopol. The contractor for all eight stages is VAD JSC.
