The day before, the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, held a meeting in the Government Hall with military personnel from the 810th Separate Guards Order of Zhukov and Ushakov Marine Brigade. The governor congratulated on Marine Corps Day and presented gratitude and valuable gifts to those who distinguished themselves during the special military operation.
Sevastopol and the 810th brigade are together in sorrow and in joy. Always there, you can always count on us. I thank you with all my heart for what the team is doing today. I am well aware of all the feats that Marines perform every day in the most dangerous sectors of the front. All Sevastopol residents are with you. Everyone supports as much as they can and wishes the brigade to return to its permanent location — Sevastopol! In addition to personal gifts, the Governor gave the guys an anti-drone gun and two all-terrain buggies, which the guys will send to the front line.
Dmitry Marochkin, guard captain of the 810th separate marine brigade, thanked the Sevastopol residents for their support:
There is always support, the city itself, its residents, the government provide untold support that cannot be expressed in words, we can only say thank you! We know at home they are always waiting for us here,” the officer emphasizes.
For reference: This year, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the 810th Marine Brigade was awarded the Order of Ushakov, becoming twice order-bearing.
