The governor of Sevastopol congratulated the staff of school No. 6 on the 125th anniversary of the institution

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Sevastopol secondary school No. 6 is 125 years old. The governor of the city of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol Sergei Sigunov, senator Ekaterina Altabaeva and others congratulated its employees on the anniversary of the establishment.

The school was founded in 1898. Today there are 1,116 children studying here and 76 employees working here. In 2017, by agreement with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol, the first cadet class of internal affairs bodies was opened. Today there are 469 cadets at the school. The school’s teachers show a high level of professionalism in teaching competitions. The institution is a reference school in Sevastopol for the implementation of a target model of mentoring and mentoring, a platform for practice for students of pedagogical fields of Sevastopol State University.

Mikhail Razvozhaev congratulated the teaching staff on the holiday. He noted the high performance of teachers and the active public position of students.

School No. 6 today shows good results in a variety of areas and participates in federal projects of the Ministry of Education. For our part, we are doing everything possible to support one of the oldest, most beloved schools in the city. And the cadet classes that opened at the school several years ago are an example of our joint work with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol. We have no other such institutions in the school education system where the cadet movement was so developed. It is joyful that children actively participate in the life of the city: they stand watch at Post No. 1, join the presidential “Movement of the First” — all this is the result of the well-coordinated, professional work of the teaching staff. The guys grow up with a correct understanding of life — which means that those who later join the internal affairs bodies will perform their service conscientiously and responsibly, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the city.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol, police colonel Sergei Sigunov, expressed gratitude to the school staff for their contribution to the education of children.

On behalf of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol, I thank you for your invaluable contribution to the training and formation of future employees of the internal affairs bodies. It is thanks to your daily work that the personalities of true patriots of Russia and Sevastopol are formed. I am sure that in the future more and more young men and women will join the ranks of our law enforcement officers,” he said.
