A solemn meeting dedicated to the anniversary of the creation of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans was held at the Palace of Culture of Fishermen «The Brotherhood of War». Veterans of the movement were congratulated by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The event was also attended by Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev, head of the regional branch of the public organization «Combat Brotherhood», deputy of the Legislative Assembly Vasily Zubenko, participants in the movement.
A quarter of a century is a serious milestone. We see that the Combat Brotherhood is a serious, mature, responsible and very strong organization. Today is a difficult time for the country, and many of you put on your uniform again and went to the front to defend our values, fighting against Nazism. You are also carrying out a huge humanitarian mission — you have delivered thousands of tons of aid cargo, hundreds of kits for soldiers. I am grateful to Vasily Viktorovich Zubenko and to each of you for the tremendous work that you are doing both here and behind the ribbon. Together we will win , — Mikhail Razvozhaev noted in his welcoming speech.
The Governor awarded the Sevastopol Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans «Combat Brotherhood» represented by Chairman Vasily Zubenko with a certificate of honor from the Government of Sevastopol.
For a significant contribution to strengthening the veterans’ movement, the gratitude of the Governor of Sevastopol was also announced to the members of the Council of the Sevastopol Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans «Combat Brotherhood»: Igor Gedzik, Andrey Kruchenok, Vadim Maksimov, Andrey Pavlov and Dmitry Skopintsev.
«Combat Brotherhood» is an active participant in the country’s social and political life and the defense of its national interests. This year alone, the organization held more 50 events in the Hero City.
The humanitarian projects of the organization are aimed at ensuring the collection and delivery of assistance to residents of regions affected by military conflicts.
Within the framework of the international programs “Syrian Frontier” and “Peace to Donbass”, members of the All-Russian Organization “Combat Brotherhood” provide humanitarian support to the population of the Syrian Arab Republic, Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
During the solemn meeting, the leadership of the DKR gave the head of the movement New Year’s gifts for the participants of the NWO.
