The Governor of Sevastopol reported to the President on the progress of construction of the cultural cluster
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Russian President Vladimir Putin received a report by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin via video link on the creation of museum, cultural and educational complexes in Vladivostok, Kemerovo, Kaliningrad and Sevastopol.
In addition to their educational and educational mission, cultural clusters provide a good incentive for the comprehensive development of regions. The surrounding public spaces, walking areas and parks become points of growth and attraction for local residents and tourists. In cities, due to both cultural clusters and their projects for sports, landscaping, and the development of new creative industries, a modern, harmonious living environment is generally being formed., noted Vladimir Putin. — In total, cultural complexes in Kemerovo, Sevastopol, Kaliningrad and Vladivostok include 46 objects. Currently, judging by the materials presented, 29 of them have been put into operation.
The Governor of Sevastopol reported online to the President on the progress of construction of the cultural cluster at Cape Khrustalny.
For us, this is a landmark architectural and infrastructure project — there were no analogues to it not only in Sevastopol, but also in Russia. The Opera and Ballet Theater will be one of the most grandiose cultural objects in Russia. From an architectural point of view, it is absolutely unique: the theater will have a floating console — an observation deck with an open exploitable terrace protruding towards the sea with a reach of more than 35 meters and an incredible view of the Sevastopol Bay.
The Museum complex is also being built at an excellent pace. Both the theater and the museum, as Deputy Prime Minister Marat Shakirzyanovich Khusnullin said today, are planned to be completed by the end of next year. Let me remind you that on the territory of the complex, on behalf of the President, a museum and memorial complex “To the Defenders of Sevastopol 1941-1942” will also be built.said Razvozhaev.
According to him, thanks to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, all institutions that were built in the city are already working. The Academy of Choreography opened back in 2019. The Russian art gallery is also open, its employees hold exhibitions and lectures for their guests. The Opera and Ballet Theater gathers world stars and holds wonderful gala concerts.
It is important—and the President emphasized this—not only to build new facilities, but also to take care of the employees of cultural institutions. Therefore, the corresponding infrastructure is already ready: a building with 238 apartments for employees has been built. Such objects cannot exist without landscaped areas around them. Vladimir Vladimirovich himself saw the abandoned territories and ordered the creation of a new park with an area of 15 hectares to be included in the project — this will make it possible to create not just a grandiose cultural complex at Cape Khrustalny, but also a new place of recreation in our city,” the governor of Sevastopol emphasized.
