The Green Festival took place on the territory of Meganom. Its main event is fairs

On Fontannaya Square at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries, the Fair of Crimean Craftsmen was held throughout the festival. 10 craftsmen and local manufacturers exhibited their products. Decorative candles and perfumes, toys and souvenirs, leather and wood products, handmade dishes and jewelry, potted plants and knitted items abounded on the craftsmen’s shelves.

Nowadays, manual labor is especially valued, because consumers are tired of the same, stamped things. In addition, each master puts a piece of his soul into a handmade product. I create interior baskets, bags, and decorative elements from jute rope and twine. This is completely handmade, we even make the leather accessories for the baskets ourselves. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail so that things last as long as possible and delight their owners. I was already at the Tavrida.ART festival in the summer, at the Art.Molodost market, and I came again to the Green Festival because I really liked the format, and the audience at Tavrida was grateful, — shared Natalia Parchinskaya, a needlewoman from Simferopol, founder of a brand of products made from jute rope and twine.

Delicious Crimean fruits, vegetables, nuts and dried fruits appeared on the shelves, as well as Crimean honey, homemade cheeses and dry-cured sausages, cheese-pressed butters and halva, collections of Crimean herbal teas, coffee and kombucha, and even tree and flower seedlings.

We take part in the fair in order to introduce festival spectators to our products and invite them to our cheese factory: on a tour, at a tasting, so that our customers can see the farm, cows and goats. The local production we are engaged in is our culture, we strive to teach people to treat their lives correctly and with love, just as we treat our business in our cheese factory, — said Valentina Gaikalova, a representative of a cheese factory from the Bakhchisaray district, “With the world behind cheese.”

In addition to pleasant shopping, the Fair hosted a rich cultural program for spectators: competitions and relay races. Everyone could take part in competitions, choose the largest vegetable and the ripest fruit, play vegetable checkers and learn how to play electronic music on vegetables and fruits. There were also competitions for farmers and entrepreneurs, for example, for the largest or crunchiest vegetable on the counter.

Green Festival is a big family holiday, the primary task of which is landscaping the area. All festival guests can plant a plant on the territory of the art cluster. In addition to landscaping, festival guests will enjoy a rich, useful, cultural and educational program: an autumn harvest fair and a fair of Crimean craftsmen, a “cultural” exchange of plants, a presentation of art objects, family sports competitions and excursions, a “green” picnic, master classes and scientific workshops , the youngest participants will be able to undergo a real “Initiation into Young People”. Throughout the day, guests of the Green Festival can enjoy a musical program and performances by artists. The program includes an evening music show “Reflection of Nature”, a performance by residents of the “Tavrida” art cluster and popular artists — Klava Koki and the group “CHAIF”.
