In Sevastopol, the investigation of the criminal case initiated against the general director of Aquamarine Fish Canning Plant LLC has been completed. He is accused of concealing the organization’s funds, at the expense of which taxes and insurance contributions should be collected, on a large scale, as well as non-payment of wages (part 1 of article 199.2, part 2 of article 245.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigative department for the Nakhimovsky district established that from August 2022 to February 2023, the head of the organization concealed from the tax authorities over 18 million rubles, proceeds from the activities of the enterprise. He sent the specified amount to the accounts of counterparties and a controlled legal entity, bypassing the current account of the company he headed. The intentional actions of the defendant resulted in the impossibility of collecting into the budget system of the Russian Federation the existing arrears in taxes and insurance contributions in the amount of 2.8 million rubles.
Also, since November 2022, the head of the organization has not paid the due wages to two employees of the enterprise for over 7 months. The resulting debt to employees, with the possibility of repayment, amounted to more than 360 thousand rubles— reported in Sledkom.
The man’s criminal activity was identified and stopped during a prosecutor’s inspection in cooperation with the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol and operational officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
At present, the criminal investigation has been completed, the necessary economic examinations have been carried out and all investigative actions have been completed. The accused partially admitted his guilt in committing the incriminated crimes, but it is fully confirmed by the totality of the collected evidence.
The preliminary investigation body has taken measures to compensate for the damage caused to the budget of the Russian Federation and the employees of the enterprise.
The case materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for the purpose of studying, signing the indictment and sending the case to court.
