The head of Crimea held a working meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a working meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, which included the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev and the permanent representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Ruslan Shayakhmetov.

Sergey Aksyonov thanked the members of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan for the meeting and emphasized that Tatarstan is one of the important partners of Crimea in many areas.

The Republic became one of the first regions with which Crimea entered into an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation. We have established cooperation in such key sectors as industry, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, education, and many others,” noted the Head of Crimea.

Aksyonov also added that Tatarstan has taken patronage over the Bakhchisarai region, where important projects have been implemented.

During the meeting, issues of socio-economic and cultural cooperation between the republics were discussed.
