The head of Crimea met with proxies of Russian Presidential candidate Vladimir Putin in the 2024 elections

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, held a meeting with proxies of the candidate for President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, who supported him during the election campaign for the election of the Head of State in 2024.
In total, 544 people were included in the list of Vladimir Putin’s proxies, who ran for elections by self-nomination. Among them are political and public figures, representatives of culture, art and science, and athletes.
The Republic of Crimea was represented by:
- head of the Crimean branch of the Interregional public organization «Union of Donbass Volunteers», member of the Northern Military District, reserve colonel Viktor Anosov;
- General Director of Fiolent Plant JSC, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea Alexander Batalin;
- Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, 1972 Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling Rustem Kazakov;
- Head of the Kolchugino district hospital of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Simferopol Central Regional Clinical Hospital», member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, Honored Journalist of Crimea Boris Levin.
Sergei Aksyonov thanked Vladimir Putin’s proxies from the Republic of Crimea for their active civic and patriotic position. During the election campaign, they held personal meetings with Crimeans, among whom a high level of support for the current Head of State was recorded.
The support for our Leader in Crimea has always been and will be enormous. This only confirms our historical decision, desire and choice to be together with our Motherland Russia,” Aksyonov emphasized.
Let us remind you that voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation took place from March 15 to 17. There were a total of 1,165 polling stations operating on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. According to the Election Commission of the Republic of Crimea, the final turnout was 89.76%. 93.60% of Crimeans cast their votes for self-nominated candidate Vladimir Putin.
