The head of Crimea presented awards in connection with the Day of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, presented awards to distinguished employees of the Main Directorate of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The event, dedicated to the Day of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, was opened by a documentary film about the troops of the Russian National Guard.

In his welcoming speech, Sergei Aksyonov expressed gratitude to the military personnel and employees of the Russian Guard who serve every day, ensuring the safety of civilians.

As people who wear a military uniform, you deserve nothing but respect and gratitude.“, — said the Head of Crimea, especially noting the National Guard members who courageously and honorably carry out their assigned combat missions during a special military operation.

Sergei Aksyonov added that work to ensure security in Crimea is always carried out by the authorities together with the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The Russian Guardsmen were presented with awards of the Republic of Crimea: orders “For Fidelity to Duty”, medals “3a Courage and Valor”, Certificates of Honor of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Gratitude of the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Distinctive insignia “Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”.

The employees of the Russian Guard were also congratulated and awarded with awards by the head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, Lieutenant General Stepan Gaidarzhiisky, and Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Efim Fiks.
