The head of Crimea presented well-deserved awards to employees of internal affairs bodies

At the beginning of the event, a video congratulation was heard from the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police General of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev. Then the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea, Lieutenant General of Police Igor Illarionov, congratulated those present.
In his welcoming speech, Sergei Aksyonov thanked the employees and veterans of the internal affairs bodies for their courage and devotion to duty.
People in uniform are treated with only respect in our society; their authority is growing. The presence of people in uniform gives Crimeans peace of mind and confidence in the future, in the fact that together we will be able to fulfill all the tasks set by the President and heads of departments. And you and I have common tasks — order and the safety of citizens must be ensured in Crimea. I thank everyone without exception, Igor Valentinovich in particular, for the high level of interaction in countering sabotage groups. We carry out all tasks related to the defense of Crimea and participation in exercises aimed at countering the penetration of enemy sabotage groups together. We are all one team– said the Head of Crimea.
Then Sergei Aksyonov presented the employees of the internal affairs bodies with well-deserved awards. In addition, during the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, Police Lieutenant General Igor Illarionov, was awarded the medal “For the Defense of the Republic of Crimea.”
Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Kirill Stepanov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Kozyrev, and heads of the security bloc addressed the participants of the event with congratulatory words.
Those present also paid tribute to the memory of the fallen employees of the internal affairs bodies.
