The head of Crimea took part in a meeting of the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, took part in a video conference at a meeting of the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov.
During the meeting, the implementation of maritime policy in the Azov-Black Sea direction was discussed in terms of the development of port and coastal infrastructure, the production and logistics complex and the prospects for the development of shipbuilding and ship repair capacities in the region, and ship maintenance.
Denis Manturov also noted that, taking into account the increasing cargo turnover, an important aspect of the development of the Azov-Black Sea direction remains the determination of the boundaries of seaports, the purpose of port facilities and the organization of shipping within the designated perimeter.
In addition, during the meeting the issue of coordinating activities for the development of yacht tourism infrastructure in the Azov-Black Sea basin and the design of yacht marinas was discussed.
