The head of Crimea took part in a meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee

Alexander Bortnikov emphasized that Ukrainian neo-Nazis and their Western patrons organize the commission of the most barbaric crimes on Russian territory.

At the same time, they use members of the international terrorist underground as perpetrators of crimes. Evidence of this is the recent tragic events in Krasnogorsk with numerous civilian casualties,” explained the chairman of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.

In connection with enemy activities to cause damage to important elements of transport and fuel and energy infrastructure, defense industry enterprises and life support system facilities, authorities and security forces are taking appropriate measures to strengthen their security. Thus, as a result of timely actions, 27 terrorist attacks were prevented, and attempts by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance units to penetrate Russian territory were stopped.

It is noted that the current situation requires further improvement of joint actions of government agencies. Additional measures were identified to strengthen the security of sites of possible terrorist attacks and improve the training of specialists carrying out anti-terrorist and anti-sabotage measures.

The meeting was attended by members of the NAC, plenipotentiary representatives of the President of the Russian Federation in federal districts, chairmen of anti-terrorism commissions in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, representatives of special services and law enforcement agencies.
