Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov met with the head of the Crimean Metropolis, His Eminence Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea Tikhon (Shevkunov).

There is a lot of work ahead aimed at developing Orthodoxy and educating the younger generation in the spirit of our traditional values. Moreover, in the context of the unfolding information war, our confrontation with the West, the Orthodox Church and other traditional religions are given a special educational role,” Vladimir Konstantinov revealed the topics of the conversation.

The politician promised to actively interact with Metropolitan Tikhon.

For its part, the State Council of the Republic of Crimea will provide all necessary assistance to the Orthodox Church,” the head of the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea emphasized.
