The head of the Investigative Committee instructed to deal with the housing problem of the Crimean orphan

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia ordered an investigation into a complaint about a violation of the housing rights of an orphan from the Republic of Crimea.

The Information Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia received an appeal regarding the violation of the housing rights of a 22-year-old orphan from the Republic of Crimea. Last fall, the girl was given a municipal apartment in a house in the village of Novoselovka. However, during the operation of the housing since January of this year, she discovered significant defects, due to which living in it was not possible: mold had formed on the walls, the ceiling was deformed as a result of flooding. It is also noted that the communication systems in the building are worn out, which is why pipeline breaks often occur. Another orphan living in the same house faced a similar problem. Appeals to the competent authorities did not bring any results.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Main Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Nikolaevich Terentyev, to conduct a procedural check and submit a report on its preliminary and final results— reported the Investigative Committee.

The execution of the order, as well as the progress of the procedural check, is monitored by the central office of the department.
