The head of the Russian Investigative Committee took control of the case of an accident involving children who died in the Nizhnegorsky region of Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee ordered to submit a report on information about a traffic accident involving minors in the Republic of Crimea. About this terrible accident in which three teenagers died and a fourth was injured — HERE.
On October 27, 2024, as a result of a collision with a car, four teenagers were injured while traveling on an ATV and two motorcycles on a road near the village of Kostochkovka in the Republic of Crimea. Three minors died from their injuries, and another was hospitalized. A criminal case on this fact was initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Main Investigation Department for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol sent a petition to the supervisory authority to seize the materials of the criminal case and transfer them to the investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol A.A. Bykov submit a report on the circumstances of the incident and the decision taken by the supervisory authority— reported the Investigative Committee.
The incident is resonant. In addition to the fact that this, a priori, is a tragedy and great grief, debates are raging on social networks (in society) about who is more to blame (the driver, the children’s parents, the teenagers themselves…) and what are the true circumstances of the accident. Moscow reacted. The case is under the control of the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
