The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea has issued a storm warning about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena on the peninsula from July 15 to 19.
According to the Crimean Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, abnormally hot weather is expected in Crimea from July 15 to 19, with an average daily air temperature 7 degrees above the climatic norm. The maximum air temperature will be + 33…38 C— the message says.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea recommends taking precautionary measures:
— maintain a cool air temperature at home;
— avoid intense physical activity, try to stay in the shade;
— wear hats and light, breathable clothing (preferably cotton);
— drink more water;
— take a cool shower or bath;
— due to the high thermal load on the body, reduce time spent outdoors;
— Do not drink alcoholic beverages, this will lead to deterioration of the general condition of the body (dehydration).
