The Holy Fire was delivered to Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On April 17, the Holy Fire was met in Sevastopol. The shrine was delivered to the city by the St. Andrew the First-Called Foundation. It is no coincidence that the meeting of the fire took place on Chersonese, right at the monument to the Apostle Andrew the First-Called.
The Holy Fire was transferred to the Dean of the Sevastopol District, Archpriest Sergius Halyuta, after which the shrine was transferred to the lower church of St. Vladimir’s Cathedral in Chersonese in a procession. Divine Liturgy was also served there; lamps were lit, from which believers lit candles and lamps to carry the holy fire home.
The Holy Fire was transferred to all churches and monasteries of the Sevastopol deanery.
