The idea of abolishing personal income tax for large families was supported by 52% of Crimeans

Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko proposed exempting large families from paying personal income tax. The high-paying job search service SuperJob found out whether city residents support such an initiative. Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part in the survey.
Tax preferences for large families were supported by 52% of Crimeans. 21% of respondents were against the abolition of personal income tax for working parents of large families. In their opinion, “large families have enough support”,” noted the service’s press service.
City residents with children supported the initiative to abolish personal income tax for large families more often than those without children (56 and 49%, respectively). Men approved of the idea more often than women (60 and 44%). Most supporters of a zero personal income tax rate for parents of large families are among respondents under the age of 34 (61%).
