On July 21, at 13:39, a message was received on the control panel of the operational duty officer of the Sevastopol Rescue Service about a person falling from a height near Cape Fiolent. The duty shifts of the search and rescue unit «South» and «Balaklava» left for the scene (stop «Mayak», Alexandra Bay).
Rescuers evacuated the victim from a hard-to-reach place and handed over to the ambulance staff. The search and rescue operation ended at 15:34. From the GKU «Rescue Service of Sevastopol» 8 personnel, 2 pieces of equipment and 1 water craft were involved. The injured resort visitor was hospitalized.
