The industrial sector forms at least a third of the consolidated budget of Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
After reunification with Russia, Crimean industry received a new impetus for development. The industry, which today employs about 62 thousand people, forms at least a third of the republic’s consolidated budget. The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, stated this in his Telegram channel.
In total, more than 4,740 industrial enterprises operate in Crimea, of which 1,771 are in the manufacturing industry. At the same time, the production capacity utilization of systemically important enterprises is 100%.
According to the Head of the Republic, the Crimean Regional Industrial Development Fund provides preferential loans with a low interest rate from 1 to 9% under 11 financing programs.
During the period of operation of the fund, about 600 million rubles were attracted into industrial production. The total capitalization of the fund since the beginning of its activities has exceeded 1 billion rubles– said the Head of Crimea.
As Sergey Aksyonov noted, import substitution remains a special topic.
In the near future, a number of enterprises plan to implement important import-substituting projects in the mechanical engineering, construction materials, perfume and cosmetics industries, – said the Head of the Republic.
In addition, an “Industrial Menu” of the republic has been developed, which includes investment sites, infrastructure industrial projects, and government support measures. The possibility of implementing investment projects to create new industrial enterprises in the production of building materials, electronic components and plastic pipes is also being considered.
Thanks to the implementation of the national project “Labor Productivity” in Crimea, production costs are being reduced, and an increase in labor productivity of at least 5% per year has been achieved.
Sergey Aksyonov emphasized the need to further increase measures to support the industry and find optimal ways to solve existing problematic issues.
One of the key problems is the lack of qualified personnel. The strategic goal is to ensure industrial production growth of at least 1.7% annually. This requires a lot of intense systematic work.– says the Head of Crimea.
