The International Campaign “Garden of Memory” was completed in Crimea

The international event “Garden of Memory” has ended in Crimea. From March 18 to April 11, forest planting events were held in different regions of the republic. More than 5,800 saplings and seedlings of forest plants were planted, including: pine, cypress, thuja, maple, ash, fir and others.
The main goal of the action is to perpetuate the memory of everyone who died during the Great Patriotic War. 27 million trees in memory of the 27 million who died. This year’s events were also dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Crimean offensive operation. Representatives of the forest districts of the Republic of Crimea, the North-Western United Forestry State Institution, as well as representatives of municipalities, members of school forest districts, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and combat veterans, as well as volunteers and concerned local residents took part in the plantings— reported in press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea.
