The International Youth Forum «Unity of Purpose» has started in the Sevastopol branch of the Plekhanov University. The organizer is the Sevastopol regional branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia with the support of the Department of Internal Policy.
Look at the reports in our program — they are all devoted to history, its lessons, which we must not only learn, but also convey to our youth. We will talk about the role of state ideology, about patriotic and civic education, including at preschool age. And, of course, about the impossibility of rewriting the history of the Great Patriotic War , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the chairman of the regional branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia Ruslan Koveiko.
The forum is attended by experts, analysts, historians, public figures, youth. At the conference, they were greeted by representatives of the Government of Sevastopol, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, including those representing the center of public diplomacy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Representatives of Belarus and Uzbekistan will make presentations within the framework of the forum, reports of representatives from the Dagestan and Chuvash republics, the republics of Mari El and Crimea, the cities of Tomsk, Volgograd, Orel, Moscow and others are also planned. The conference is held both in person and online.
Today Sevastopol is an example of mutual respect for different nationalities, unity and patriotism. At any point in our country, Sevastopol residents of all nationalities feel comfortable, with the feeling that they are representatives of the one great people of Russia. This is not just an abstract, emasculated idea of tolerance promoted in the West — this is precisely our all-Russian unity and patriotism , — says Sergey Bezdolny, director of the Department of Internal Policy of Sevastopol.
In total, about forty reports are planned for the conference. In addition, there will be an exhibition of crafts and folk art crafts, lectures, performances by creative teams of Sevastopol and an excursion program for guests of the city.
