The Investigative Committee will look into the story of a Crimean orphan left without legal housing

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to initiate a criminal case regarding the appeal of an orphan from the Republic of Crimea about the failure to provide him with the housing required by law.
To the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.I. An orphan from the Republic of Crimea contacted Bastrykin at the VKontakte Reception Office. In 2019, the young man was included in the list of persons subject to provision of living quarters. Last year, the court ordered the administration to provide the orphan with municipal housing, but to date his rights have not been realized. Repeated appeals to the relevant structures did not bring results. The applicant is forced to rent housing at his own expense, which puts his family in a difficult financial situation— reports Information Center of the Russian Investigative Committee.
In the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, a procedural check was organized based on the received appeal.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Main Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Nikolaevich Terentyev, to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the circumstances established during the initial investigative actions, and upon completion of the investigation — on its resultsstressed the Sledkom.
