Team of the Crimean Federal University named after. V.I. Vernadsky became the champion of Group “B” of the Top Division of the National Student Football League in the tenth season. The final tournament was held in Yevpatoria as part of the All-Russian competition among students “Forever with Russia!”
The main team members are first-year students.
Our young team’s rivals were student teams from Moscow, Novorossiysk and Yasinovaty. The coaching staff and young players were seriously preparing for the upcoming tournament. Having shown character, unity, skill and won three victories in three matches with the best goal difference in the tournament 8-2, our national team became the winner of the competition! – the press service of the university quotes the head of the KFU-2 team, Andrei Gorbachev.
Also, from October 10 to 12, the fourth round of the Premier Group of the Igor Gamula Super League will take place in Yevpatoria, during which the main team of the Crimean Federal University will play with the Russian University of Sports «GTSOLIFK», Chechen State University and Kuban State University.
