The killer hoped for leniency from the court, but the verdict for the murder of a woman in Feodosia was upheld

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea considered a criminal case of murder in Feodosia.
It was established that on April 25, 2023, a resident of the city of Feodosia, previously convicted of murder, while on the territory of his neighbor’s household in the village of Blizhnoe, during a conflict with a woman, shot her in the chest area with a hunting rifle. The attacker was promptly detained by internal affairs officers; during the investigation, a preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of detention. The appellate court found the arguments of the convict’s appeal not worthy of attention, upholding the verdict passed by the city court,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
For the crime committed, the man was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months of imprisonment to be served in a special regime correctional colony. The verdict came into force.
