Employees of the Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea continue to fight fires of dry vegetation in open areas. Today at 01:18 a signal was received about a dead wood fire in the village of Ilyichevo (Sovetsky district).

Upon arrival, it turned out that dry vegetation and reeds were burning in the open area. Firefighters laid hose lines and extinguished the fire within 1.5 hours. Its area was 800 square meters. meters. There were no casualties. The reasons are being established— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

Let us remind you that from April 1, a summer fire season has been established in Crimea. The corresponding resolution was approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea on March 4, 2024.

During the fire season, it is strictly prohibited to: make fires, use barbecues, other devices with open fire, smoke, throw burning matches and cigarette butts in places not intended for this purpose; You must not leave material oiled or soaked in gasoline, kerosene and other flammable substances in the forest; It is prohibited to burn grass under trees, in clearings, and stubble in fields.
