The largest Crimean resort is the first participant in the national project “Labor Productivity” in the field of tourism
CrimeaPRESS reports:
One of the leading resorts on the Black Sea coast became the first participant in the national project “Labor Productivity” in the tourism industry. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko. The company plans to improve the level of service, increase the efficiency of employees and equipment, and optimize the room cleaning process. To achieve this, national project experts will help implement the best lean manufacturing practices.
One of the main goals of this project is to reduce the negative impact on the environment by reducing the volume of waste, consumption of resources, energy and materials. This is all also included in lean manufacturing practices.– the press service quotes Irina Kiviko.
Irina Kiviko also reported that this is not the resort’s first experience in introducing lean manufacturing technologies. Previously, experts from the Regional Competence Center of the Republic of Crimea, together with specialists from the federal training center “Hospitality Academy”, implemented educational programs to increase labor productivity in the field of hotel and resort activities. They identified streams with potential for growth and improvement, then resort employees were trained to implement basic lean manufacturing tools and adapted them to the specifics of the industry for further replication.
In 2024, tourism enterprises with revenues of 180 million rubles or more can receive support from the national project “Labor Productivity.” The corresponding document was signed by the curator of the national project — First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
