The law on the powers of the authorities of Crimea and Sevastopol in the field of land relations was approved

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At a plenary meeting, the Federation Council approved a law that extends for two years—until January 1, 2027—the term of authority of the authorities of Crimea and Sevastopol to establish the specifics of regulating property and land relations, as well as the scope of real estate cadastral registration.

According to the current version of the law on the admission of Crimea to the Russian Federation and the formation of new regions within the Russian Federation, such powers are established until January 1, 2025. As noted by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Construction, Maxim Kavdzharadze, the term of authority of the state authorities of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to establish the specifics of regulating property and land relations, cadastral registration of real estate and state registration of rights to real estate and transactions with him. This extension will also affect, according to the senator, actions regarding illegal capital construction projects.

The original version of the bill, submitted to the State Duma in April, proposed extending these powers until January 1, 2030. As noted in the accompanying documents to the law, such an extension is necessary to support participants in the special military operation (SVO) and members of their families, including by providing them with free land plots. According to the data provided, 9,912 SVO participants and members of their families are in line to receive a plot; 826 land plots have been provided free of charge.

Considering the number of citizens already in the queue and their increase, work in this direction will continue for a long time, — the document says.
