The “Let’s Save Life” Forum took place in Simferopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The “Let’s Save Life” forum was organized by the charitable organization “Maternal Happiness” and the “Spas” TV channel. Within the framework of the project, issues of preventing abortion and supporting motherhood and childhood were discussed.

Today’s “Let’s Save Life” forum is a small part of the enormous work that is aimed at preserving and strengthening spiritual and moral values. This is a contribution to the protection of Russian family traditions, the popularization of large families— the press service quotes Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya.

According to Elena Romanovskaya, in Crimea more than 111 thousand families receive a unified allowance for children. 22 republican measures of social support have been established, which 31 thousand families receive. Particular attention is paid to large families, of which today there are 32.7 thousand and 107 thousand children are being raised in them.

Thanks to the national projects “Demography”, “Education” and other federal programs, over a ten-year period, 187 preschool education facilities with 49 thousand places and 10 schools were introduced in Crimea. By the end of 2024, it is planned to complete the construction and reconstruction of another 5 kindergartens with a thousand places. In 2025-2028 It is planned to commission another 26 facilities with 4 thousand places.

Among the new measures planned for implementation is support for young student families. Together with universities, it is planned to create family rooms in dormitories and arrange short-term child care rooms, which will allow raising a child without interrupting their studies.

In the Republic of Crimea, as throughout the country, medical and psychological counseling is provided to women who have applied for a referral for abortion. Based on the results of the work carried out over the 9 months of this year, out of one thousand three hundred women who applied for a referral for an abortion and received medical and psychological consultation, 368 women continued their pregnancy (28.4%) in the country as a whole, this figure is 22% — said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Elena Romanovskaya emphasized that the students and medical workers in this room will continue to actively work to preserve and strengthen our traditions and expressed hope that young people will decide to start a family and have children.

Bishop Nestor of Yalta, vicar of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese, spoke about the role of the church in the prevention of abortion, the moral and ethical aspect of this issue, and the work of Orthodox psychologists.

Much attention is paid to the topic of refusal of abortion by the Spas TV channel, which was the first to film the full-length feature-documentary “Mother’s Letter,” which touches on the issue of abortion and protecting the lives of children before they are born.

In his speech, Boris Korchevnikov noted that the premiere screening of the feature film “Mother’s Letter,” which was one of the first to take place in July in Simferopol, launched a large-scale All-Russian action aimed at fighting to save the lives of unborn children.
