The improvement of the longest sea embankment, more than 20 km long, is planned in the area of ​​the resort town of Yevpatoria in the western part of the Crimean Peninsula as part of the Golden Sands of Russia project. This was reported by TASS Yakub Asanov, CEO of the Monolit group of companies, which acted as a key investor and developer of the project.

As part of the largest investment project “Golden Sands of Russia”, we will create a unique resort that will have no analogues in the south of Russia. It is planned to make a single embankment about 24 km long. It will become the longest in the Russian Federationsaid Yakub Asanov.

He clarified that the embankment of the Golden Sands of Russia complex will be connected to Simferopolskaya Street, Tereshkova Embankment, Frunze Embankment and further to the Azure Embankment along the coast of Evpatoria Bay.

The embankment will be mostly pedestrian, but it will also have a path for electric scooters and bicycles, as well as a path for electric cars.

Earlier, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, reported on the project to Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the creation of federal year-round resorts. It is expected that Golden Sands of Russia will be able to receive up to 1 million tourists a year.

The Golden Sands of Russia project promises to become the largest tourist attraction in the south of Russia. The main investor is the Monolit group of companies, which plans to invest about 60 billion rubles; the state will require an investment of about 12 billion rubles. They will be used to relocate a section of the highway, reconstruct a gas distribution station in the Saki district, reconstruct and build a new branch of the existing gas pipeline in the Saki region, 20 km long, and build an energy complex with a capacity of 15 MW.

It is planned to build 17 hotels of various categories, from three to five stars, which will be able to simultaneously accommodate about 20 thousand guests. The first hotels will appear in this area in 2030.
