The main period for passing the Unified State Exam has started in Sevastopol

Today, graduates of Russian schools take a unified state exam in geography, literature and chemistry. In Sevastopol, eleventh-graders write the Unified State Examination at three points located at schools No. 22, 32, 45.

513 Sevastopol graduates of this year came to the examination points: 262 people were registered for the Unified State Exam in chemistry, 186 people in literature, 65 people in geography. These tests are not mandatory; graduates take them as entrance exams to a university.

Despite the fact that this year the procedure for conducting the State Exam has been changed for Sevastopol, the majority of eleventh-graders appreciated the advantage of taking the Unified State Exam, and there are no mass refusals from the Unified State Exam in Sevastopol. To date, of those graduates who were registered for the first exams, only 26 people have decided to undergo state final certification in the form of intermediate certification; they will receive certificates of secondary general education based on their final grades; these guys will have to take internal entrance exams at each university separately, — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol and. The duration of the Unified State Examination in chemistry is 3 hours 30 minutes. The examination paper consists of 34 tasks. Reference materials are included with each option; you are allowed to use a non-programmable calculator during the exam.

The duration of the literature exam is 3 hours 55 minutes. During this time, participants will have to complete 11 tasks, including writing a detailed essay on a literary topic of at least 200 words. When completing exam assignments in literature, participants have the right to use a spelling dictionary.

On the Unified State Exam in Geography, graduates must complete 29 tasks in 3 hours. A non-programmable calculator may be used on this exam.

The Unified State Examination is possible to take the exams once and send the results to five universities, this is easier than taking exams at each university separately.
