On July 17, at 17:35, the control panel of the emergency department on duty received a message that on a rocky area above Yalta (near the village of Sosnyak), help was needed for a man who could not continue moving on his own. The help of rescuers is required in his evacuation from the mountain-forest area.
Rescuers contacted the victim by mobile phone and found out his approximate location. The duty shift of the Yalta emergency and rescue squad of the GKU RK «CRIMEA-SPAS» went to the area of search and rescue operations. Upon arrival, emergency workers quickly found the victim, he was in a state of severe dehydration.— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Rescuers evacuated the climber to an ambulance and handed over to paramedics for further hospitalization.
