The Massandra Palace presents exhibits from the funds of the Tsarskoye Selo and Gatchina State Museum-Reserves. The new exhibition project is associated with the most famous representatives of the Romanov dynasty — Empress Maria Feodorovna and the last Russian autocrat Nicholas II.

The halls of the palace display the photo exhibition “The Last House of the Last Emperor of Russia” from the collection of the Tsarskoye Selo Museum and the traveling exhibition “Maria Feodorovna. Princess, Grand Duchess, Empress”, provided by the Gatchina Museum-Reserve— reported the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.

The director of the Alupka Museum-Reserve, Alexander Balinchenko, at the opening of the exhibition, read out the greeting address of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, in which it was emphasized that new exhibitions from the collections of the leading museums of the Russian Federation give impetus to new ideas and forms of cooperation, and also noted the importance of inter-museum cooperation in the preparation interesting exhibition projects acquainting visitors with little-known pages of the history of the Fatherland.

A kind of accent, complementing the era of the reign of Nicholas II, are porcelain items from the collection of the Alupka Museum-Reserve.
