The maximum size of a family mortgage loan should be increased. The President of the Association of Mortgage brokers Christina Malkhasyan adheres to this point of view, reports «NSN».

According to her, in Moscow the current limit on a subsidized loan of 12 million rubles is enough only a small studio, and a “normal” apartment is much more expensive.

Prices for two- and three-room apartments for families begin about 20 million rubles. At the same time, the initial payment fee in such segments reaches about 8 million rubles— said Christina Malkhasyan.

In her opinion, given the dynamics of prices and the growth of construction inflation, the installed threshold of 12 million should be increased by at least 2 million rubles.
