The media expedition of the VK Mesta project is making a film about Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
From May 7 to May 14, a media expedition of the federal project VK Places. VKontakte users will learn about traveling along the Black Sea routes in a new film that the team will release at the end of the trip, organized with the support of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.
The expedition along the peninsula began in Kerch, where travelers heard the history of the General’s beaches, saw sculptures of outlier stones, arched vaults and underwater rocks. In the Opuk Nature Reserve, the expedition members saw Lake Koyashskoe, in Sudak they enjoyed views of the sea coast, and conquered the sea waves on a boat. On the Golitsyn trail, the film crew managed to feed tamed foxes, and in the Tavrida cave they saw real wonders of nature. While traveling around the peninsula, the film crew met members of the Climbing Federations and reached the Belbek Fair, where they tasted local dishes and took part in master classes. Participants of the media expedition visited wineries and took part in sparkling wine tastings. The Republic of Crimea amazed the project team with extreme entertainment: travelers climbed the Demerdzhi and Ai-Petri mountains.
Together with the team of the VK Places project, bloggers with a total number of subscribers of more than 3 million went on a trip. Also traveling with the expedition was the winner in one of the categories of the photo competition “Crimea in my heart”, organized by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea in March in honor of the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
Our task is to show Crimea to very different audiences, which is why we hold not only traditional events, information tours for the tourism industry and journalists, but also popularize Crimean tourism through projects. For example, through the VK Places project, aimed at a youth audience, as well as through programs and special projects for federal channels, all-Russian photo competitions held with the support of leading media holdings of the Russian Federation. This season, we united the tourism industry in the information campaign “Throw in Crimea!”, which received a wide response from Crimeans and tourists, and also won a Moscow audience, including thanks to outdoor advertising in the capitalsaid the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.
As noted by VK Director for Strategic Partnerships Dmitry Uvarov, The Republic of Crimea is the heritage of Russia — here steppes coexist with mountain peaks, and luxurious palaces with amazing natural gorges. Everything is beautiful in Crimea: from the healing air and seascapes to vibrant city routes. According to him, the participants of the media expedition had a rich program in the republic; the goal of the project was to highlight the beauty of the region to the maximum.
According to tour participant blogger Mark Eremin, the expedition to Crimea was a fantastic experience; on the trip, we were able to see everything: from sea sunsets and landscapes, to mountain sunrises and amazing gorges. He noted that he definitely wants to return here, because Crimea is never enough!
The VK Mesta project is being implemented with the support of the Internet Development Institute (ANO IRI). As part of it, 70 image videos about Russian regions will be released by the end of 2024. Filming has already taken place in 42 regions of Russia.
